Warwick Hospital ASU

South Warwickshire Foundation Trust approached Envair Projects to act as a main contractor to offer a full turnkey project for a new Pharmaceutical Aseptic Unit to be located in an existing storage area within the main Pharmacy building, designed, built and validated within a 26 week period.

The suite to fully conform to EU GMP rules & guidance and while not licensed currently would have to be compliant with licensing requirements for MHRA for future use.

Working closely with the client's project team we settled on a challenging design solution with a bespoke HVAC system to make the most of the limited head room so the users benefitted from the maximum headroom available in the suite.

The facility design incorporates grade B Isolator and change rooms and grade C support rooms together with peripheral unclassified support spaces.

With licensing requirements for MHRA compliance, our in-house team supported the complete lifecycle validation programme undertaking all facility and HVAC system DQ, IQ and OQ protocol preparation and execution.

With a building requiring main utility supplies, Envair coordinated all necessary service integration including all mechanical, electrical and plumbing services, the overall project being delivered on time with an outstanding build quality.
